"The powerful vocals, authentic harmonica riffs, and the characteristic sound of a Stratocaster guitar through a small tweed amp, backed by the rock-solid rhythm section, results in the uncompromising, timeless music that Riverside Blues Band are well known for"

There'll be a selection from the Dr Feelgood/ZZ Top songbook... cars, beer and lurve also get a mention, there's an original composition, at least 3 songs about murdering your girlfriend....and purely coincidentally, a couple about ladies of generous proportions...all scattered nonchalantly amongst other R'n'B classics...

Most Blues Rock music is a lot of rock and not so much blues. Riverside Blues Band reverses this trend and challenges the assumption that blues is all doom and misery. "We play upbeat music with a distinct Chicago edge - music to have a good time to, just as blues should be".
You'll find them gigging across the South and at festivals and shows in far flung places. "The Swanage Blues Festivals are the highlight of our year, but we've played in Peterborough, Lincoln and Oxfordshire this year too - spreading the blues word… with just a hint of ACDC".
