Swanage Blues Festival is the weekend of 2nd, 3rd and 4th March 2012
with 60 live blues gigs in some 20 different venues around the town.
Riverside Blues Band and Steamer are delighted to be taking part again.
The gigs are free entry but donations are welcomed by The "Bucketeers"
to keep the Festivals going.

Great Dorset Steam Fair Blues at The Tivoli Theatre Riverside Blues Band has had the pleasure of supporting Nine Below Zero and The ZZ Tops at The Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne last year. A great live music venue with nice comfy chairs......fantastic! Lymington Arts Festival Riverside Blues Band played their part again at last year's festival. We ran a Stan's Extra Blues Jam at the start of the week, and finished the week with Riverside Blues Band on the Main Stage in the High Street and at The Chequers . Latest CD We have another CD for you! First available at the Swanage Blues Festival in March this year, "Living High, Lying Low" contains new studio recordings of 6 of our most popular songs...

THE BAND!!! Blurbs The four-piece
Riverside Blues Band
has been up and running since 2004 playing
Old School Rhythm & Blues in venues and festivals across the South
of England covering Poole, Southampton, Bournemouth, Salisbury and the
surrounding areas.
You'll hear songs by Sonny Boy Williamson, Lazy Lester, Robert Johnson, Howling Wolf, Little Walter, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, T-Bone Walker, JB Lenoir, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Peter Green, Dr Feelgood, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many more, with some original songs for good measure..... With
a high quality PA and lighting to suit both small and large venues, the
band can be relied upon to put on a professional show for pub gigs, private
functions or festivals.. A Riverside show is typically 2 hours long....played
at a controlled volume level to suit each venue's requirements. We also have an acoustic trio called "Steamer" - see link above for more details. Other Activities
