NEWS!! Stan's
Blues Jamboree Saturday 17th August 2013 We are delighted to announce
that Stan's Blues Jamboree will be taking to the Blues Stage at the
Freshfields Festival in New Milton on Saturday 17th August. The Jamboree
will be starting at 12 midday till 6pm. Riverside Blues Band will be

to peruse the menu The BMF Show British Motorcycle Federation Show Riverside Blues Band returned to the Blues, Booze and Bikers Stage for the Tailend BMF Show in September 2012 and had a fabulous time with the bikers.
Riverside Blues Band
was very well received by the discerning biker crowd at The BMF show
near Peterborough on Saturday May 19th 2012. We were really pleased
to have been asked to play at this prestigious event particularly as

Holiday Monday 27th August 2012. The
blues fest raised funds for the Margaret Green Animal Rescue Charity:- Christchurch Festival Riverside Blues Band played at the 2012 Christchurch Festival along with 5 other local bands on the the Sunday. The weather was kind to us and a good crowd enjoyed the show. Excellent organisation by Ian Peterson and his team and hopefully a healthy dollop of cash was raised for the Mayor's Charities. www.christchurchfestival.co.uk Lymington Arts Festival Riverside Blues Band played their part again at this year's festival on 23rd June 2012 on the Main Stage in the High Street (outside the United Reform Church - opposite Boots and up a bit) followed by more shenanigans at The Chequers later that night.... Wallingford Blues & Beer Festival - June 2012 Riverside Blues Band supported Mud Morganfield (the eldest son of Muddy Waters - he sounds just like his dad....), 24 Pesos, and Earl Green & the Right Time, at Wallingford Blues & Beer Festival on the first weekend in June 2012... The Tivoli, Wimborne Riverside Blues Band supported the fabulous VOODOO ROOM on Saturday 14th April 2012 and hope to see them down this neck o' the woods again soon. THE BAND!!! Blurbs Based on
the edge of The New Forest on the South Coast, the four-piece Riverside
Blues Band
has been up and running since the summer of 2004 playing
Not being limited by any particular musical era, the set list spans a century. You'll hear songs by Robert Johnson, Sonny Boy Williamson, Lazy Lester, , Howling Wolf, Little Walter, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, T-Bone Walker, JB Lenoir, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Peter Green, Dr Feelgood, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many more, with some original songs for good measure......and not forgetting ACDC.....well....it sounds like blues when we play it. With
a high quality PA and lighting to suit both small and large venues, the
band can be relied upon to put on a professional show for pub gigs, private
functions or festivals.. A Riverside show is typically 2 hours long....played
at a controlled volume level to suit each venue's requirements. The acoustic blues trio "Steamer" is a more recent development, featuring Stan on guitar/vocals and Helen on bass with Tom on djembe/cajon - see link above for more details. Other Activities As well
as keeping the Riverside Blues Band and Steamer shows on the road, we
